The Trust has recently completed the purchase of an extension to our Deacon Hill Nature Reserve near Winchester. The purchase included an unmanaged area of downland which is contiguous with the Trust’s existing reserve and an adjacent arable field. The Trust will be restoring the arable area to species rich grassland which will further expand the downland area and generate BNG credits. These credits' will be available to purchase from Spring 2025.
